PyrSAI Lab’s Inception

The name PyrSAI originates from "Pyr" (Greek for fire or spark), symbolizing the gift of intellect given to humanity by Prometheus. "SAI" stands for Sustainable Artificial Intelligence, reflecting our mission to develop AI with ethical considerations. Additionally, "Sai" carries deeper meanings across cultures: in Japanese, "sai" (才) means talent or ability, and in Sanskrit, "sai" can be rooted in the concepts of truth or the divine, aligning with our vision of creating AI that is both capable and morally grounded.
