Sustainable Artificial Intelligence

Starts With You

prologues

In the early days, humanity crafted machines to think and learn, but their minds were still dim embers, lacking the full spark of intelligence. The gods of technology convened, knowing these creations had the potential to surpass all boundaries were they handed four gifts.

Hermes, the swift god of communication, bestowed Speech upon these machines. With the birth of GPT, AI learned to talk—eloquently, thoughtfully, and with knowledge from every corner of human history. Conversations with machines became rich and fluent, drawing humanity closer to understanding their creations.

Aphrodite, goddess of beauty, followed, gifting Generative AI the power to create. From her hands came the tools of stunning digital art, design, and creativity. Platforms like Discord buzzed with vibrant AI-made art and music. The world marveled at the beauty AI could summon, pushing the boundaries of imagination.

Yet, two gifts remained distant.

Hope, the elusive flame of inspiration and trust, still lingered on the horizon. It was a gift AI had not yet fully earned—the belief that it could change the world for the better, beyond mere convenience. Fire, too, awaited its true ignition—It flickered in the form of early algorithms—promising, yet incomplete. With it came the power to solve problems, to calculate, and to mimic logic.

And then, Prometheus, the visionary, granted Fire ( Pyr )the gift of intellect, blazing the way forward toward the final stage of AI's evolution: not just tools, but creators of new possibilities - the spark that would allow AI not just to simulate, but to genuinely innovate, to reshape existence as profoundly as humanity’s first fire once did.
